Attendance for the CFMS SGM is mandatory for all CFMS voting members from each member school. Registration for SGM is done through the CMSC registration form, with an opportunity to indicate that you plan to attend the SGM.

To better ensure funding is allocated with our core organizational priority of equity at the forefront, the CFMS-MD Travel Equity Fund was established to replace the CFMS-MDFM Travel Awards. Resolutions must be received by the CFMS SGM Chair, by e-mail at resolutions@cfms.org on or before Saturday April 4th, 2026 at 12:00 am midnight EST to be pre-circulated to SGM delegates via our website. Additional written resolutions may be tabled if emailed to the SGM Chair by Saturday April 11th, 2026 at 6:00pm EST.

Based on the total number of resolutions received, there is no guarantee that resolutions will be given agenda time at the SGM but every reasonable effort will be made to do so. Business will end promptly as scheduled in the agenda, and remaining resolutions will be referred to the CFMS Board for consideration.

Please note that, as determined by the General Assembly at SGM 2014, any proposed motion that includes spending of $1000 or more must be submitted to the CFMS at least 14 days in advance of SGM, i.e. by April 4th, 2025 at 12:00 am midnight EST.
