NDoA 2025 Part II
Transform Canadian Healthcare.

What is NDoA Part II?
Each year, the Canadian Federation of Medical Students (CFMS) organizes a National Day of Action (NDoA) during which time medical students from across Canada meet with federal Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators to advocate for a health equity issue. The topic for NDoA 2025 is Emergency Room Wait Times.
This year at CMSC, instead of a Medical Education Day of Action, we will focus on furthering the advocacy efforts of NDoA 2025. There will not be reserved seats for GAAC reps - all delegate applications will be considered equally.
NDoA II advocacy efforts will follow the outcomes and learning from NDoA.

Training Day
Delegates will hear from a diverse lineup of experts in local and national medical advocacy. They will then have the opportunity to hone their advocacy skills through interactive, low-stress workshops.
This event is an excellent opportunity for medical students interested in advocacy, offering a rare and exciting opportunity to drive meaningful change in Canadian healthcare.

Who Should Participate?
As medical students, it’s easy to forget that you are a key stakeholder in how your education and the broader healthcare system is structured. We encourage all Canadian medical students, Anglophone and Francophone who have an interest in shaping medical education from a policy level to participate in the NDoA Part II. Participation is by signup and no prior NDoA experience is required!
